Showing Some Testicular Fortitude, Goodluck Jonathan Promotes Himself To Field Marshal

Who would have guessed Goodluck Jonathan wanted to join Mobutu Sese Seko, Idi Amin and Jean-Bédel Bokassa as one of Black Africa’s handful of Field Marshals? Not I, and probably not you, but hey, dreams do come true, and I guess GEJ can finally celebrate this milestone.

It’s interesting to note that GEJ did what Johnson Aguyi-Ironsi, Gowon (Nigeria’s last and only war C-i-C), Murtala Muhammed , Obasanjo, Buhari, IBB and Abacha could not do, promote themselves to Field Marshal.
