New Video + Review: Suranu – Charlie What Da Happen (Featuring Maytronomy & Jesse Jagz)

If you’ve ever wondered how the Nigerian version of “Teach me how to Dougie” would sound, wonder no more, the hook is identical with the words to that song merely being substituted with ‘Charlie What Da Happen’.

Truth be told, I actually prefer this version to that one. Overall, Suranu, Maytronomy and Jesse Jagz all deliver on this solidly produced track, the video isn’t lacking either, actually one of the best ones I’ve seen from Nigeria in the last few months. Definitely worth a look and listen.

If the standard set in this track is maintained and they keep momentum going, I’m hard pressed to see how Suranu and Maytronomy won’t be household names in the Nigerian music scene (Jesse Jagz we already know and love) in the not too distant future.
