New Music + Review: Iyanya – Kukere Remix (Featuring D’Banj)

I think it is not far fetched to say D’banj is in free fall. To be clear I do not expect every single song he releases to be a mega hit ala Oliver, but for an artist of D’Banj’s stature to release two very mediocre songs after leaving Don Jazzy and joining Kanye’s G.O.O.D music speaks volumes as to the direction his career seems to be heading in.

The good news is (No pun intended) that D’Banj is more than capable of reversing this direction and becoming a force to be reckoned with again.

For the record, for Iyanya this is good stuff, for D’banj, not so much, anyway, enjoy, that is if you don’t fall asleep midway through the song.
