In a 10-point communiqué issued by the community at the end of its delegates’ conference held at the Agbor Community Hall, Ime-Obi, Agbor, which was attended by various stakeholders, the President-General of Agbor Community, Gen. Nicholas Aigbohun (rtd) and Secretary-General, Mr. MacDonald Odiase, the forum claimed unwarranted arrest of defenceless civilians by soldiers.

The stake holders therefore asked the federal government to compensate the victims for the violation of their fundamental human rights and order the release of the detainees.

The delegates endorsed the current efforts of villages, quarters and notable individuals to sustain the lull in criminal activities such as robbery and kidnapping in the area.
